Live In The Booth A.B.
Where are you originally from and how does it differ from Tulsa?
"I’ve lived in many places but spent the most important young years of my life in N.Y."
When you are not at work what do you do to relax?
"Most things that involve music in some fashion spinning In a club or at a party, watching a favorite show on HBO, at the movies, at the gym or chillin with people in my “inner circle”."
What is your greatest fear?
"I don’t consciously focus on fears"
Which would you prefer being an air personality or hosting events? Which brings you more enjoyment?
"I prefer being an air personality. Hosting events is a great way to make some good quick money and can be fun but does not even come close to connecting and communicating with hundreds of thousands of listeners or more for an extended period of time!"
What was the deciding factor in wanting to become an on air personality?
"Listening to legendary air personalities & radio stations in N.Y. from Frankie Crocker on WBLS to Mr. Magic, to Rosco on 92 KTU to 98.7 KISS, WPLJ & WLIB on Long Island."
What advice would you give a young person wanting to get into this line of work?
"Get in for the love of the industry, music and with a purpose to hopefully advance the art form or profession. Take it to the next level and bring back the significance of being a primary source for what is the “next” trend or music. Be the person in the know when it comes to the culture and music of your format."
What makes your show different from any other radio personality show?
"I bring a combination of experience (both life and music), professionalism, natural talent in communicating with people, and a God given “radio” voice that can’t be taught or developed you either have it or not! People STILL appreciate listening to someone who “sounds” like radio is the profession they BELONG in! And I LOVE music and that comes across naturally."
